Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is actually happening.
