A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.
The Kennedy Library Confirm the Loss
The sad news was shared in a online announcement from the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Details of the Illness
Within a published essay in November, it was shared that she had been suffering from acute myeloid leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a malignancy that affects the body's blood-forming tissues.
